The crew of “The Sarah Silverman Program” went back to work this week to finish out the rest of the second season. They will be filming ten more episodes that will begin to air this October on Comedy Central. Steve Agee made two mini-interview videos about the filming:

Mike Myers has been appointed as this year’s host of the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Hopefully Sarah will at least be making an appearance. I will keep you guys updated!

There is word that Jimmy Kimmel has been planning a revenge song for Sarah ever since she musically announced to the world that she is f—cking Matt Damon . He is going to be working with Ben Affleck on the song which is said to be set to the tune of “We Are the World.” There are also rumors that the music video will feature cameos by Robin Williams, Don Cheadle, Ashlee Simpson, and Harrison Ford. - Source

Sarah Silverman will not be hosting this year’s 2008 Independent Spirit Awards ceremony. Instead the honor has been given to Rainn Wilson. Rainn was asked if he was nervous about following in Sarah’s footsteps and he replied:

Well, I could never compete with Sarah Silverman. I will never be able to say the word vagina as many times as she can. I am nervous about it. I’m not a stand-up comic, and I told them at the beginning that if they’re just looking for jokes and for people to tell jokes, that’s not really what I do. At first I was like, ‘Oh, there’s no way, I don’t want to be a host,’ and then I thought, ‘Well, it’s going to be hard to make this thing work and an interesting fun challenge,’ so I decided to take it on. And we have a little strike going — I don’t know if you heard about that — so I got some free time. - EW.com

Oh well, I guess all good things must come to an end. Maybe she will host the MTV Movie Awards again for this year. I’ll keep you guys updated.
