It’s no secret that Sarah supports Bernie Sanders in his bid to be the Democratic candidate to the 2016 presidential election. After all, she introduced Sanders at his August rally in Los Angeles, and before that she had already been spotted wearing a Sanders tee shirt. But now Sarah is among a list of “artists and cultural leaders” who have put their names on an official letter of support posted at BernieSanders.com. (The number of signatories is currently 129.)
The letter’s text reads
We — the undersigned artists, musicians, and cultural leaders of America — are excited to endorse a new vision for our country. It’s a vision that pushes for a progressive economic agenda. It’s a vision that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment, and gets big money out of politics. We endorse Bernie Sanders to become the 2016 Democratic Nominee for President of the United States of America.
