The May 16 “An Evening with Women” benefit for the Los Angeles LGBT Center will feature Sarah, Sia, and No Doubt, along with others yet to be announced. ShalomLife today posted this about the event:
‘An Evening with Women’ started in 2002, and since inception has raised $4.65 million. At this year’s event, Silverman will perform a stand-up routine, while Sia and No Doubt will do an acoustic and unplugged set.“We are so honored to be joining the lineup for this year’s An Evening with Women. We applaud the tremendous work Los Angeles LGBT Center has done over the years in striving to create a community where all people are equal and treated with fairness and dignity. This is going to be a really cool show for us….different than the big plugged-in shows we’ve done over the years, it’ll be exciting to switch it up and play a select handful of songs and bring a scaled down, acoustic vibe to them,” No Doubt said in a statement.“I am so happy and proud to be a part of An Evening with Women again this year, and to honor the excellent work they do for the LGBTQ community of Los Angeles,” said Sia, who also performed at the event last year.‘An Evening with Women’ will take place at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, May 16th.
