Sarah adds Mission as another Sept gig

Sarah will be logging lots of air miles in September. In addition to the four appearances she already has booked, she will be headlining a benefit in Boston on September 23. That means beginning September 14, she goes from home, to Connecticut, to Toronto, to Detroit, to Boston, and back to L.A.

September 23, she will be one of nine acts appearing at Boston Symphony Hall in a benefit called “Mission Gratitude.”  The celebration of “our nation’s heroes” will benefit the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program, which work to “heal the invisible wounds of war – post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury” – and to serve Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families through clinical care, community education and research.

In addition to Sarah, performers include The Band Perry, Big & Rich, SNL’s Darrell Hammond, Cassadee Pope, The Henningsens, Angie Johnson, actress/singer Rita Wilson– with additional special guests also appearing.
