Sarah Captivates Jewish Press has been overwhelmed by response to the opinion piece it published by a businessman youth-rabbi in which he criticized Sarah’s incorporation of Judaism into her “Let My People Vote” public service announcement. The site posted an acerbic apology to viewers who are having difficulty accessing the column and its responses, leading the apology with the barb, “Apparently nothing is more important in the world than Sarah Silverman and her uterus.”  Clearly the site is enjoying and encouraging the attention: they subsequently published a follow-up piece by one of their featured writers, Yuri Yanover, which, like the original op-ed, demonstrates the author has seen Sarah and her work, claims to appreciate her comedy, but then criticizes her lack of what the author considers to be appropriate femininity.  Both writers are orthodox Jews.
