Fresh reminiscences in recent press roundtable

Posted by Gator on October 29th, 2012

Although it was ostensibly about Wreck-It Ralph, the press day roundtable Q&A posted at veryaware.com and at Collider.com revealed some interesting Sarah recollections, including a list of some of Sarah’s favorite movie comedies, and a list of videogame faves that supplements her past mentions.

Ex-Boyfriend Dishes Sarah

Posted by Gator on October 28th, 2012

“Talking Shit with Jim Jefferies and Eddie Ifft” is a podcast the two nominally humorous hosts do. On their episode 172 (10/9/12), which Ifft solo hosted, Eddie interviewed Alec Sulkin, a writer on Family Guy, co-writer of the movie, Ted, and most significantly, an ex romantic partner of Sarah.

Eddie keeps wanting to hear scuttlebut about Sarah (but Eddie seems to love talking about himself, so he keeps digressing). We’ve edited together the interview pieces that allude to Sarah. Listen to it here. The only interesting statement is Sulkin stating the amount of time he dated Sarah as being “on and off for two years,” which is different than reported on his Wikipedia entry. We don’t like Eddie’s attitude about Sarah, but we tolerate it to be able to preserve on SSO what Alec says about her.

(By the way, they keep referring to the Jim and Eddie episode in which they interviewed Kevin Brennan, famous in Sarah’s memoir for having been her “first.”  Elsewhere Eddie calls it one of their funniest podcasts, but it’s not available online because Eddie says they didn’t record the audio properly.)

On Leno 10/26/12

Posted by Gator on October 28th, 2012

Sarah’s October 26 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was a bonanza for fans: She talked about her recent “polarizing” politicking, particularly her “Let My People Vote” video, about the rabbi letter, and about her father’s response to it. She named The Airport Diner, in Manchester, NH, as her father’s favorite restaurant and hers too. She talked about next week’s release of her app, Uncle Sarah, for infants and toddlers. She talked about how her apartment building is filled with old people. And of course she promoted Wreck-It Ralph (nothing new there).

The pic links to the full show. Sarah’s segment begins at 18:30 and ends at 28:08. But her reaction to Paula Deen at 29:00 (and running 20 seconds) is worth watching. Although she is present for the second half of Paula’s cooking piece, she’s barely involved (just a moment of vegetarian reaction to the talk of a doughnut cheeseburger at 31:05). Sorry you have to put up with commercials even when you jump to the Sarah parts.
