In Brooklyn Wednesday With New Act!

This from Brooklyn Academy of Music (New York City) about Sarah’s headlining the BAM/IFC free comedy night “Get It Out There” on Wednesday, September 12:

The irrepressible Sarah Silverman (The Sarah Silverman Program, Mr.Show) is joined by comedians Katina Corrao (Upright Citizen’s Brigade, The Skip & Sparkle Variety Show), the Lucas Brothers (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), and Brent Sullivan (It Gets Better-ish) in this fall’s first installment of “Get It Out There.” Silverman presents a set of new material—100% untried and untested—in a raucous evening hosted by Nick Turner (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon).

“Get It Out There: Comedy by BAM & IFC” is a new free comedy showcase that allows comics to experiment recklessly with humor while causing only minimal harm to themselves and others. Each event features a handful of emerging comics testing out fresh material and probing the depths of their twisted souls for new forms of funny.

Capacity is extremely limited. Only the first 300 people will be admitted.

Doors and bar service opens at 8pm. Show starts at 9pm.
