Sarah Silverman will be making a cameo appearance along with several other comedians in Adam Sandler’s new movie Funny People which is scheduled to release Summer 2009. The movie “focuses on the story of George Simmons (Sandler), a very successful yet self-involved stand-up comic who learns that he has a disease and has less than a year to live, and a struggling up-and-coming comic, Ira, played by Seth Rogen. Both of them have one thing in common: both have no close friends. On one night, the two meet and George hires Ira to be his assistant and his best friend.” – AHN
