E! Online recently interviewed Sarah in an article called “Sarah Silverman Wants to Be Effing Obama.” Sarah had this to say about the presidential candidate:
“He’s so ridiculously sexy. He’s got that swimmer’s body and he stands like Fred Astaire, ya know, slouchy but with incredibly great posture.”

In anticipation of the upcoming season airing OCT. 8th at 10:30pm we are celebrating by making spec commercials for the show. We invite friends, fans and filmmakers to spread the word. How to participate: Make a video. Upload it online. Post the video in our comments section. Commercials must be less then 30 seconds. Commercials should include the air date Wednesday, Oct 8th at 10:30. Also a NEW episode will be airing on on the following night Oct. 9th in its regular time slot, THURSDAY’S at 10:30.

The season premiere of The Sarah Silverman Program will air Wednesday, October 8th right after the premiere of South Park on Comedy Central. Another new episode will air the following day, October 9th, on Thursday which will be their usual slot time. Two new episodes the first two days! Mark your calendar!

Sarah won an Emmy tonight at the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for her song “I’m F–cking Matt Damon.” In part of her acceptance speech she said:
“Let’s be honest, Matt Damon had very little to do with this being popular. Thanks to the person for whom this whole video was made: Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart – ohh, who’ll always have a place in my heart.”

Sarah Silverman, Tom Hanks, and Valerie Bertinelli are just 3 of the stars that will be presenting at the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards this Saturday, the 13th. The ceremonies are set to air on television the following Saturday, the 20th @ 8pm on ABC!
Update: An edited two-hour version of the 2008 Creative Art Emmy Awards, which took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, will air on E! on Saturday September 20 at 8PM ET/PT.
