Updates / Classic Leno Appearance

Posted by SSO on November 11th, 2007

With the ending of The Sarah Silverman Program for this year there currently isn’t a lot of news to report. They’ve already written six new episodes for next summer but the writer’s strike has currently put everything on hold for now. So during the meantime I’m posting a “never been seen before on the internet ” talkshow appearance with Sarah on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (July 24, 2002). Watch and hear about Sarah’s dog eating pot brownies.

Yahoo’s Most Searched Cable Shows

The Sarah Silverman Program made #5 on Yahoo’s list of Top Ten Searches for Cable Shows.

The potty-mouthed comedienne has sweet-talked her Comedy Central show, “The Sarah Silverman Program”, into the number five spot. Silverman’s calculated cluelessness lets her wander into the most taboo of subjects, and that kind of gumption gets attention from teenagers to people hitting the mid-century mark. While her show pulls in an even 50-50 gender split, searches for Silverman herself runs 80% male.

I also just found out that SarahSilvermanOnline.com is ranked #1 on a Yahoo search for “Sarah Silverman Program.” Thanks Yahoo! :)
