I thought the joke on Paris was great, but her reaction was even better! It is about time someone has the guts to make a real rip on her, not just the tabloids. I think it was honourable you did it in person, not behind a computer screen or some from of print. It helps to show that money can’t buy you respect, your actions speak louder. The Paris Hilton joke was not wrong.

Paris Hilton CHOSE to show up at one of the most high-profile events in recent months even though she is knee deep in scandal. The fact that she didn’t see a joke coming and didn’t have a sense of humor about it shows a complete lack of intelligence and common sense.

Every other comedian that has ever hosted an award show use their opening monologue to poke fun at celebrities in the audience. Chris Rock was far harsher when he hosted MTV award shows.

Paris Hilton CHOSE to be in the public light unlike Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan who were forced into stardom by domineering parents.

(You didn’t see Sarah making fun of Lohan and Spears, they weren’t in the audience and weren’t begging for attention)

Paris and her sister used to dance on top of tables at every posh New York party to get noticed. They could’ve enjoyed their millions and lived a low-key life but they CHOSE differently. They were SCREAMING for attention.

You certainly cannot give me this “people are so unfair to Paris Hilton” bullshit.

She drove while intoxicated and could’ve killed any innocent people on the road that night.

THEN, after having her license suspended, SHE DID IT AGAIN!

There’s nothing innocent about that. She was selfish and narcissistic.

I love Sarah Silverman’s humour. It’s totally cutting edge and she gets away with ripping people because she rips everyone. It’s about time that comedy came back into it’s own and was a clean blackboard. Enough already with comedians being scared to say anything about this culture or that culture. As long as not one is picked on, it’s what we should be laughing at.

Remember Richard Prior and Eddie Murphy at their comedic peak? After that time comedy died. And people like SS are breathing life back into it. Everyone is too scared to make jokes about someone with fair skin because they’re afraid to insult all the redheads. It’s become ridiculous. We absolutely *need* comedians like SS to extract the needles out of our easily insulted arses.

Paris is a celebrity, as someone else mentioned if she didn’t know she was going to have jokes told about her then she’s not very smart. Comedians have been doing this for years and years. Go to your local comady club, sit in the front row and try to get up half way through the comedian’s act to go to the bathroom. You’ll get exactly the same treatment. That’s what stand up is all about.

Sarah is a JAP, a Jewish American Princess. As such she is burdened with over-size ego,loud-mouth,especially so if from Noo Yawk City,a lack of grace and usually never married by a decent person. WOW! I loved your comments on Paris going to Jail… just got done watching an older video of paris calling black people N*&&ers and It made me sick! She was also ranting that people were desperate, poor and broke and would do anything for her attention. She is a disgrace to humanity and she needs to be humbled. I can’t hate on her for being financially blessed, but I can be angered by her ignorance, lack of empathy, selfishness and her failure to do more for other people with the abundance of money God has blessed her with. To goin the masses and to kick a person when they are down for a few laughs. Are you proud of your role in the absurd witchhunt? Witchhunters are not “courageous” they are followers. Why do have a poll on your sight? Think for yourself.

I’ve made cracks at others expense, we all do. I speaks more of the person making the crack.

Why the heck would she show up to the MTV Movie Awards THE DAY BEFORE she heads to jail?

She wanted the MEDIA ATTENTION as usual. She got attention, just not positive. Completely expected since she’s done NOTHING to warrant being famous other than a lame porn being released and riding the hype.

As George Clooney said and I agree 100%:
“You can only get so far without any discernible talent. Then you either work or use cheap publicity tricks to keep the publics attention. Then you are in no position to complain if, like Paris, you are on the receiving end of bad publicity.”

Stop hatin on Sarah!!! She did her job she made a JOKE about current events. She also made many other jokes about other Actors/ Actresses ie. Toby Mcguire, Lindsey Lohan, Jack Nickleson. It was fucking hysterical and I show all My friends the skit whenever I can. Sarah has a lot more balls then most people, At least she had the courage to say it in front of Paris and not behind her back.

Dont listen to these people, Sara. Talk about insecure, transparent. What is there to respect about paris?? Think about it, then get back to me. Brit is a horrible lip-singer by the way, its embarrassing to watch. The only difference between her and a stripper is the pole, um- wait… maybe the nipples would be two things, either way im broke after seeing a shameful performance. if you want to put yourself out there in the spotlight, then make sure you are willing to be a role-model, and learn how to take a joke.
