TV Guide: “Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan” – In the sixth-season opener, Monk is asked to help his obsessive fan, Marci Maven (Sarah Silverman), after her dog is accused of mauling a neighbor to death despite the fact that the animal died days earlier. Monk refuses to take the case, but is forced to investigate after Marci “wins†Monk in a charity auction.

Jimmy Kimmel Doing Well After Surgery

Jimmy Kimmel is doing well after an emergency appendectomy late last night. Kimmel’s publicist says:
“The surgery was a success. The rest of this week’s tapings of `Jimmy Kimmel Live’ have been canceled until he is back on his feet. He is resting comfortably and is looking forward to getting back to work.”
I guess Sarah’s side-splitting jokes really got him this time (da dum pshh 
). Glad you’re doing well Jimmy!
The Sarah Silverman Program on DVD!

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products [NVCP] has announced that the first season of The Sarah Silverman Program will be released on DVD in October 2007. They also announced that the show (along with South Park, Mind of Mencia, The Colbert Report, and Lil’ Bush) will be made available to retail merchandising which would include apparel, greeting cards, and other social expressions. Will a I pooped! t-shirt or keychain be made???
